Disir Sword Charm?

We know of a sword charm with the Tyr rune, so we know the ancient Norse pagans believed in weapon blessings and enchantment. With a sword typical of the time, a sword slap would only really contact the left breast, and the distaff, left are attached to the female in symbology. What do you feel on this? Could this be a blessing from the Disir?
